The Ask a Lawyer event was a three-hour-long event where 33 individuals and families received legal advice from pro-bono attorneys on specific legal matters. This event was done in partnership with the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic, the Indiana Justice Project, Grassroots Maternal and Child Health, and North United Methodist Church to provide free and qualified legal opinions. This event was free of charge for all who attended. Additionally, many booths were present for inquiries such as the Mexican Consulate, the Immigrant Welcome Center, and Covering Kids & Families of Health & Hospital Corporation. From this, 2 families started the process of signing up for health insurance, and many more discussed upcoming events and opportunities with other organizations.
