Goodwill Nurse-Family Partnership® (NFP) pairs individuals pregnant with their first child with a registered nurse for ongoing visits aimed at assisting parents and families in providing the very best start for their children during the earliest, most developmentally critical years. Nurse-Family Partnership is a national, community health program, widely researched and recognized for increasing health care access and improving health outcomes.
To qualify for Goodwill Nurse-Family Partnership, an individual must:
- Be less than 28 weeks (7 months) pregnant
- Have no previous live births
- Be low-income or eligible for Medicaid
- Live in one of the 62 Indiana counties they currently offer services
